Not so "same old same old"

So many things have occurred in the last 48 hours, some things which are better left unsaid. But I went dancing for only my second time in Canada. A fun night, no doubt. Last night, I had my mini reunion with a few friends who I met on my France trip. One of them was nice enough to drive up all the way to Brampton from Hamilton to pick me up, then went to Toronto to pick up another friend, then made our way downtown to hang out. Oh but that drive to go downtown was INSANE. Terrible driving = driving into wrong lanes.. several times. But hey, we were driving in the streets of downtown Toronto. Can't blame us! But wow, we could've been killed. Anyway, after we found some parking, we walked along Bloor street, and found an Indian place to eat at. We walked to Yorkville after and took some photos. It was beautiful to take a promenade around there as it reminded us a lot about our long nights walking in the streets of Saint-Etienne. Overall, it was great to see them! It was so surreal to see them on this side of the world, during this winter season. The last time we were all together, it was in France in the heat, with hearing French all around us. Last night, it was weird to order food together in English!

On another good note, I went to church this morning and I saw God working, as a always do each week. But today, he answered a prayer of mine. I first started praying about it five years ago. And I only feel this monumental about this answered prayer because it was something I thought would be impossible. But today, God answered it and I can't help but feel overwhelmed. He never ceases to amaze me. More than ever, I truly believe that God is great; He always listens, and everything you pray for will all pan out in the Lord's timing. Because the Lord's timing is the RIGHT timing.
