The lack of blog entries is not due to some busy schedule that I have where I never have time to write. I really do wish that were the case. The lack of blog entries is actually due to the lack of anything exciting or interesting happening. Last week I stepped out of the house once to go to school from 10am to 8pm. It was a super long day, just attending a couple of lectures and reading in the library. Acquiring information from lectures and books the whole day is incredibly draining. It reminded me of a semester last year where I had to stay at Glendon from 9am-9pm each week, then getting home at 11pm.

Anyway, this week will bring more interesting activities, as it proves to be quite busy. I get to leave the house three days out of five - today included. Typically in Canada, leaving the house only three times during the week is an easy going schedule. But for Stockholm, this is the busiest week my agenda has seen thus far.

It was a beautiful day out today, despite the chilling wind. I attended an interesting seminar for one my courses this morning. Then I spent the next few hours interchanging french and english language lessons with a friend. It's been so long since I've been able to speak in french. I do admit though, when the opportunities have emerged in the past, I tended to hide from them, out of fear of sounding like an idiot. But today, practicing my french reminded me of why I wanted to learn the language in the first place. It reminded me of how much passion I had for it - and still have for it. Later on, I met with Liatrice and had a meal at Burger King. One of my New Years resolution for 2012 was to eat healthier, but who was I kidding? Once I arrived in Sweden, I broke that resolution in an instant at the sight of Swedish chocolate.

Ps. I finally finished the Hunger Games trilogy a couple of days ago. Can't wait to see the film next week!
