I went with my Performance Studies class to see Frankenstein tonight. Now if you don't know already, I am no fan of getting scared. Horror movies, haunted houses.. not ma thang! One time I went to Screamers and a "deformed" man chased me all the way to the girl's bathroom. But anyway, Frankenstein was CREEPY - even though I had no idea what anyone was saying because it was in Swedish. Maybe my lack of comprehension made things more scarier than they actually were. Because all I got from watching that was people looking and acting like zombies, getting electrocuted and yelling all the time. And I know Frankenstein is meant to be scary, but did I really have a choice in attending or not? In this particular version, "Frankenstein" was a woman. For the whole duration of the play, I couldn't stop looking at the blood that continuously dripped from her chin.. I was so amazed that it just kept dripping for a whole hour and a half! Wouldn't the liquid gooey stuff eventually get dried out after a play that long?

In other news, I started my other course last Thursday on the Viking Age. And Amazingly enough, one of my classmates attends York as well. Such a coinkydink! There're way more international students in this class than in my Performance Studies class. More people from Canada - represent! Others from Mexico, Spain, China, Italy.. and I can't remember the rest.

I have to read a whole textbook by Thursday so I should get started on that.

Ps. I'm craving for some Wild Wings :(
