Oh, Olso

The excitement ran high when it was planned that I'd be able to leave Stockholm for a bit to see another Scandinavian city. Liatrice's family and I took a road trip to Norway for a one night stay in the heart of Oslo. We left early in the morning, arrived early in the afternoon with the sun greeting us with warmth. As we came closer to the city, it was clear we had left Sweden as we passed by landscapes of houses sitting on hills and mountains by the lakeshore. Once we arrived at our hotel, we got ready to see the city.
We visited Parliament, the Royal Palace, the Opera House and walked through streets filled with shops. The trip was basically solely filled with walking and taking photos. With the city being so small, everything was very close to each other so the walking distances weren't too long. There wasn't much to see at all, but it was quite fun regardless. We ended our day with having dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe, and watching the Germany match at the hotel.

The next morning, we ate breakfast at the hotel, and decided to see some more of the city. However, once we got out there, we realized we had already seen everything the day before. So we ended up just taking more photos in the same locations that we've already visited. That's basically it. Then we drove back to Stockholm. Not the most exciting trip I've taken, but at least I can now check off another city I've seen in the world.

Ps. Nostalgia kills.
