Music blasting, intoxication and great company leads to dancing as if no one were watching, dancing the night away - literally. I had my first experience with the Stockholm nightlife last night, and it's definitely worth repeating. I've never been much of the dancing/party type, but when you're with the right people, letting loose is inevitable. It was an amazing night, but it didn't go without a bit of the "Friday the 13th" bad luck. When we got to the city, it was raining/snowing (=ruined hair), we got lost, and tried to find a bar before going to the club which failed due to various reasons (=a lot of walking in heels all for nothing). My feet were already killing me from walking around so much in heels, and my fingers were ready to fall off from the cold. But all that really didn't matter when we got to the club, had a few drinks, and danced away.
The music was great. There was a room of house music, and another room that played 90's and early millenium music. We were dancing in a state of nostalgia. I didn't know I was capable of dancing for 4 hours straight. But anyway, we walked to a McDonalds after - and by "walk", I mean shuffle because my feet were ready to fall off. We feasted, then decided to wait until the trains started running again to go home instead of taking the night bus. Nothing seemed better than the thought of taking off my heels and passing out on my bed. By the way, this is what it looked like going home this morning:
Je ne comprends pas!
Ps. J.K. Rowling's The Casual Vacancy is officially pre-ordered! =D
