Alas! After about 5 minutes of sitting and thinking at my desk, with the sun rays heating up my skin, Jason Mraz playing in the background..
Can you believe it's almost April? It's so weird to think that I've been here since January! Time sure flies. I went from hardly seeing the sun at all, to having the sun brighten up my room after some light rain. I'm excited for the summer when the sun will be filling up my room all morning, all day, all night - okay, not all night, but until 10pm? I've yet a very long way to go til I come home. It's crazy because although I miss people back home, I still don't feel that homesick. This is ironic, considering the fact that when I was younger, I couldn't last a sleep over without wanting to go home to my mom. We'll see how this lack of homesickness develops over the upcoming months. I was upset about not spending the summer in Canada, but can I really complain about having the sun out from 3:30am to 10pm?
Ps. I've started to read One Day, alongside my school readings. I'm only about 50 pages in, but it's enough to make me wonder why I haven't read it sooner!
