A couple of days ago, I visited the town, Uppsala. It's north of Stockholm, and could've been my home today if I hadn't have chosen Stockholm University. When I arrived, its buildings and streets reminded me somewhat of my hometown, Brampton - Downtown Brampton to be exact; thank goodness I'm living in Stockholm instead. Not to say Uppsala wasn't charming or anything, but it's nice to have a change of scenery from the hometown you've lived in almost your whole life. Uppsala was indeed charming, with a river flowing through the town and trees covered in lights. We met up with Liatrice's friend named Anna. We walked around the small city, took some photos, picked up some groceries, then cooked at her apartment while dancing to the Spice Girls. "Girl power! Equalization between the sexes! Mmm!" After our delicious dinner and dessert, we watched a couple of episodes of Big Bang Theory. On our long way home, it was snowing lightly which was beautiful to watch.
Yesterday, I had the most typical Sunday. Stayed home, watched shows and movies, played video games, and ate junk food. Quite the lazy day. This week, to keep myself busy, I'll be running errands and hopefully explore Stockholm some more. Next week is still a mystery to me. In fact, from now until mid February is a mystery to me. I guess I'll just wait and see what life has in store for me.
Ps. I have a new love for spinach soup.
